Starting your self managed super fund

  • podcast
  • 42 mins

This week on the Investor Intelligence podcast, I have not one, not two but three guests joining me to talk all things self managed superfunds - also knows as SMSFs. My guests include Mario Vinaccia, the director of Veale Accounting Group - an independent accounting firm used exclusively by TPM. Mario is a specialist in all thing investment accounting and self-managed super funds. Alongside him is the General Manager of Veale Accounting Group, Georgia King and we are also joined by our in-house investment expert, Luke Harris. Today we discuss how an SMSF differs from the super you get when you first start working, why someone might set one up, how much 'self-managing' is involved, who is the best person to speak to about setting one up and so much more.
